Mu Pi to sponsor First Annual Golf Classic on Sept. 16th

The Mu Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated is proud to announce the beginning of its first Golf Classic to be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 with a shotgun start at 9 AM. The tournament will be played at Bonnie Brae Golf Club, 1116 Ashmore Bridge Road, Greenville.

Founded on the principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift, on November 17, 1911, Omega Psi Phi remains a vital change agent in the Greenville community. Since its establishment in 1974, in Greenville, Mu Pi chapter has consistently produced and developed positive role models for our community.

Mu Pi is proud to partner with the American Diabetes Association to make this event possible. Diabetes is a cause that touches the families of a large number of persons in our community. Twenty percent of the proceeds of this Golfing Classic will go to the American Diabetes Association. Our non-profit fraternity provides a scholarship program, a Blood drive program, a youth mentoring program and several other community action programs for the greater Greenville area. Your support will be greatly appreciated, and a solicitation letter is attached below.
