Forum to speak on SC Vote ID Law at Furman University

Greenville, South Carolina - Furman College Democrats, Furman NAACP, and the Greenville County Democratic Party present: "Voter Protection or Voter Suppression? Understanding SC's Voter ID Law" on Thursday, September 22, 7-8 PM, Younts Conference Center.
The event will be a five-person panel discussion that includes--Brett Bursey, President of the SC Progressive Network; Victoria Middleton, President of SC ACLU; Demar Roberts, Southeast representative on the NAACP National Board of Directors; Conway Belangia, Director of Voter Registration & E! lections for Greenville County; and Allan Jenkins, state board member for the SC Democratic Party.
The event will be an open forum to the Furman and Greenville community on the cultural significance of South Carolina’s new Voter ID law.
