Blood Drive honors Dr. Charles Drew on June 12th

Maudlin, South Carolina - The Mu Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi will be sponsoring an annual Dr. Charles R. Drew Memorial Blood Drive and Fish Fry Plate Sale on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 11 AM - 3 PM.

Dr. Charles R. Drew, known for his pioneering work with Blood plasma and transfusions, was member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The Blood Connection of Greenville, SC is working with Mu Pi Chapter to sponsor this event to collect blood. The event will be held on Motowne On Main on 516 North Main Street, Maudlin, SC. Plates will be offer $6.00 per plate and include whiting, bake beans, cole slaw and bread. Fish Sandwich will available for $4.00 and drinks for $1.00.
