2023 SCD9 Legislative Day registration is open!!! 

Columbia, South Carolina - Again, the Divine Nine groups (NPHC) are sponsoring their 6th annual South Carolina Divine Nine Legislative Day on April 19, 2023. The event has been held and sponsored to better involve the NPHC community, but all Minority Community groups and individuals are welcome to join the sessions. 

Due to COVID concerns and the desire to expand our message to the communities across the state, all events will again be held as virtual Zoom Webinars.  We have an in-person Tuesday night Cocktail hour from 5 PM to 7 PM to kick off our event. The main session will feature four (4) different Panel Discussions and a Keynote speech.  

The public is invited to register and join this session. This year's topics will include the following topics:

1. Access and Equity in public education

2. Social Determinants of Health Care

3. Improving SC infrastructure

4. SC Economic Development

The Divine Nine (D9) or NPHC groups consist of nine Historically Black Greek Organizations:  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity.
